Has anyone ever heard of a game called The Granstream Saga? It was a weird RPG-ish game with anime cutscenes on the PS. I remember having it on a demo disc when I was a kid and it always intrigued me.

It was one of those few interesting looking PS1 games I actually never bought. I really wanted to because it was a Working Designs project.

Wasn't it like a light-gun/shooter RPG?

Working Designs is pretty much just Victor Ireland now, and he has a company called Gaijin Games. They still try and translate & release obscure JRPGS. A close affiliate company is Monkeypaw Games and they were actually responsible for getting Tomba emulation to work for PSN, and getting the rights cleared for it.
