In the United States, an "Uncle Tom" is a black person who does nothing but please white people, even if this harms his own race. Basically a black person who prefers white people over his own (and I don't mean in the dating sense).

However, did you know that in the original book Uncle Tom was the good guy? The image that people still have of him, one where he is subservient to his white masters ("OH YEAH, MASHA MASHA") was created by butthurt southerners in order to spite the author, the character, and what he actually represents.
