I've seen it and, to me, it looks like something you would find on "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?". Not that scarey to a 21 year old but to a 7 year old, I can see it freaking someone out.
I've heard about the movie but I've never seen it nor do I feel like watching it. Can I get a quick rundown on why it is considered so bad?
Quick run down of the movie. There is an urben legond about a good twin and a bad twin. When the good twin died he was put in the family grave yard, wile the Evil Twin was put in Cry Baby Lane (TITLE DROP). Well someone switched the bodys and now the two main characters unleash the Evil Twin by mistake. Now the younger brother has to find the Good Twin's grave before the Evil Twin takes over the world. Sound simple enough?
The younger brother is almost killed by the Evil twin when he sends a tracker after him. Even the girl the hero like trys to kill him by making a spider bite him. The evil twin is kinda scary for a children's movie. His presence his creepy and you really don't know what he might do
Now why is it bad? Well it's a 90's kid's movie. It's goofy and you know what kinda scares are going to happen. Like I said, it feels like "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" since it is a creepy movie made for kids, but it is the only movie I can think of that is a children's horror film. I will say that it is worth a watch just to see a banned Nick movie.
From what I could find, many parents allegedly found it to be too graphic and disturbing for their children, which I can believe. I still would like a DVD release just to have it and show people.
