Just finished Katanagatari, which was fantastic with it's lovable characters (from heroes to villains) and with it's well done story (albeit not original). Mix it in with a unique visual style and a soundtrack that mixes hip hop and others genres to make it really stick out.
Since I know the last episode tends to receive mixed opinions -
While the ending may come off as a shock to many people and some say "it's really forced", I'd have to disagree with it. Togame's death did not come out of no where and was hinted beforehand as she knew she was doing would lead her into this situation.
Considering the strong bond that Shichika had with her plus the fact that he did not have much human interaction before meeting her, I'd say his sudden aggression and cold state against the sword wielders and everyone else was understandable for him.
One thing I do have to wonder though. Would Togame have actually gone out of her way to kill Shichika? I don't mean this just in a "Can she physically do it", but would she be able to commit this act considering how strong their bond was and her feeling towards him? Personally, I don't think she would have gone through that, but I can't say for sure.
tl;dr - Loved it, especially the ending clip.
Oh, and before I forget. Thanks for letting me use the guest passes as I quite love watching videos on CR.

Anyways, the Devil Survivor 2 anime is now streaming on Crunchyroll in the US. Here are some 48 hour guest passes I have left over for Crunchyroll, if anyone wants them. Feel free to use them. They give them out all the time and mine always end up expiring because I don't have anyone to give them to:

It'll let you watch newest simulcasts, in HD, without commercials on a device (like the PS3 or iPad) with those.
