When it comes to gaming stuff... reading your posts Cody is starting to piss me off.
Nintendo is still going to be at E3. They're not having a press conference because they don't want the press to take something the wrong way, like they did with the Wii U. They care more about the gamers than the press. And their reasoning for not having a press conference makes sense if you actually think about why they're not doing one.
1) Avoiding all media. They don't want the press to take something the wrong way like with the Wii U (someone said that the Wii U was an add-on for the Wii, for crying out loud).
2) Sony and Microsoft are there focusing more on their new hardware. Where Nintendo will be focusing on software. If they had a conference, it would've been overshadowed anyways by Sony and Microsoft.
3) It's just cheaper to not have a conference and share some pre-recorded stuff (like the Direct's). Why spend a few million dollars renting out the Nokia Theater when they can pretty much do the same thing, while avoiding the press, for much cheaper?
It's not like Nintendo is completely abandoning the conference. If they were, THEN they'd be making a huge mistake.
