the game was banned in the United Kingdom for being too violent and bloody. however, a NES port was created with some minor censorships, as well a change in the story. it's entirely different from its arcade counterpart.

•In the arcade version, you torture innocent victims by shooting off their limbs while in the NES version you are instead saving their lives from evil monsters.


•Items in the game that you use when playing the bonus shooting stage are referred to as “Talismans”.

•Nudity was removed along with shooting the flesh off the victims, as well as body parts scattered around the torture room.
•The monk pushing a cart full of body limbs was replaced by a nun pushing a baby carriage, although the nun can still be shot.
