The definition most LPers go by is "Someone who talks over a video game" or as Slowbeef put it "Have you ever seen a DVD, you know, how they do director's commentary and stuff? Well, imagine if some jackass who was not involved with the creation of the movie at all decided to just comment on what he thought watching the movie would be like."
As much as they want to distance themselves from Let's players (I hate the name too), the Game Grumps are borderline LPers.
Also, most people who play a game blind (like most of what the Game Grumps do) bother me. That and people who ignore instructions because they could not careless (Darksyde Phil) or are talking to each other too much (the Game Grumps and the Runaway guys at times) are the things that turn me off from videos most of the time.
