My Update:

Capture card was not an OS issue.

If you update to Windows 10, you'll have to do some research and turn off all of the data mining tools they have.
This will speed up your computer.
The computer still needs to be restarted regularly.

In the end, not really worth it if you're still rocking Windows 7. Windows 8.1 can go die.

Aye, I may wait until the last month before I switch from 8 (which I like, just like I like Vista [spooky]), there'll be lots of good guides I think !
