Good riddance to it, I say. If they're so keen on screwing people out of a couple of extra cents (which is all that ever seemed to happen), they can just do what Valve does with the Steam Wallet and make you add $ to your wallet in amounts divisible by $5. That way you're pouring $10 into buying that $8 game and you may or may not ever use the extra $2
