I wouldn't say I like it but I honestly didn't mind it. It didn't annoy me and it was...well Sonic. I don't why so many people had high expectations for a Sonic game. It stayed to the classic cheesy dialogue, OK controls, weird physics and strange as heck story. I didn't find myself bored or annoyed with the game and I enjoy the mach speed sections and eventually fully completed it.
I find the hate to over hyped as heck or people riding the GameGrumps bandwagon. It's just not that bad.
