It's a public high school in 'murrica that doesn't prohibit or ban ANY non-pornographic literature (which is strictly visual if you know what I'm saying) and has an entire graphic novel section, which thankfully allowed me to finally read Watchmen a month ago.

It's a really small school too, so the badass library was a really sweet surprise for me.

I love Stephen King too. They've made Under The Dome into a mini-series. I missed the first episode though, but I reeeeeeeeeeally want to watch it.

I really have not gotten into Stephen King books. They are ether too detailed or too boring (at lest the ones I have read). I prefer the movies and TV sires that were made based on his works. Thinner and Pet Crematory are my favorite.

Also Arjahn's comment about "non-pornographic literature" and Stephen King is funny since I have tried reading Carrie and seen the 1976 movie. Guys beware of the early chapters in that book. The movie is unrated and would never get into theaters now a days.

I love both his books and movies, especially since the films are usually B-films. My favorites are probably The Stand, Pet Cemetery and Carrie. Maybe Christine too. It's so hard to decide!

In Carrie, are you referring to when she gets her period? Or when her mom gets mad that Carries has breasts? Or something else? (I haven't read or watched it in a long time, but I don't remember anything actually "pornographic" about the book or film)

I have only read the book for a few chapters and the one thing that really popped out at me was her period in the book. I think that's the most pornographic you can get in a book with out showing pictures. The movie is more pornographic. The movie was made back before the MPAA rated movies which means they could get away with alot more. Because of that, it has so much nudity. In the beginning, there must be a solid 2 minutes of under age naked girls. Have to say, the first time I watched this movie was with my mom and I was really uncomfortable. The movie is a little weird and is a show of how times have changed, but I think you guys should at lest try to watch it once. I think they miss out on casting Sissy Spacek as the mother, grandmother or something in the new Carrie movie.
