"LETS ADD MUTURPLAYR"

Once again, genius idea, from the company that brought you the Mass Effect 3 ending.

But, see, multiplayer could've been a fantastic thing. I enjoy that you can have a group of friends have cities right in the same areas. You watch each other grow, work together, etc.

What I don't like is the way they went about it. Multiplayer, sure okay, but don't make the whole game dependable on your servers. Don't get rid of the single player and definitely don't get rid of saving! My one friend, when he managed to get into his city, would play for an hour or so, and have the game crash without saving his city.

My real thought about all these games going full online is what happens in 6, 7, 10 years? There will still be people who want to enjoy this SimCity even though it might not be the most current. But, would we see the same thing that we saw with The Sims Online? If they're not making enough money to support these servers why would they keep them up? I think that's my biggest peeve about this online-only functionality in these newer games.
