You might be wondering why I am telling you this and may think it's pointless. Well back then, I thought the whole time the first zone in the series wasn't Green Hill Zone. I remembered the first zone of the game being called 'South Island Zone'. I have never played the Game Gear version of Sonic, but as I got older I realized that the game's first zone had the same name. This was before I had experience with the internet or online videos. So when I got back to the Genesis version of Sonic 1, the first zone was Green Hill like it always was.

What is strange is that even though I have never heard of the Game Gear version nor the Game Gear in general, yet I always thought South Island Zone was the first zone in Sonic 1 for the Genesis. Please let me know if you had that same experience as I did. Maybe it's the Mandela Effect.

Prompt here is pretty simple. We have a thank button on the forum. Every time you come back here and see there is a disproportionate amount of thanks on your comment, add more favorites of the prompt's topic to your post via edit.

Starting it off with ladies, because that's very broad of a subject and therefore should be easy for testing purposes.

Edit : Folks, you're supposed to comment, not just thank.

Edit : Now to lead by example.
Eliza from Skullgirls.

Ishizu from Yu-Gi-Oh!

Samus Aran

Tiki from Fire Emblem

Orlha from Chrono Cross

Android 18 from Dragon Ball

Welcome to something called the Games Canon Game.  The goal is to assemble the top ten best videogames of all time in one list.  What best means is basically up to you.  I did not create this; it's something I participated in on another forum.

Here are the rules. Read them carefully:
1.  We’ll start with a list that you'll find below. Reply here with an affirmative message (eg. “put me in, coach, I’m ready to rumble!”) and I’ll add your name to our queue. We’ll start when I’ve got something like 10-15 people, whereupon I’ll scramble the names and PM the list to the first player.

2.  On your turn, you can make one of two moves: either swap the listed positions of any two games on the list, or remove a game and replace it with a new game in the same spot.

-You may not remove a game from one position and put another game in at a different
position; if you take out #7, you have to put the new one in at #7.
-You may not skip your turn.
-You will not be told how far through the process we’ve gone or what moves have led
us to the point we’re at. (For this reason, I would ask any other players not to discuss
         their moves publicly, as well.)
-You should add a brief explanation of your move, which I will publicize upon presenting
         the completed list.
-Please don’t be slow. If I don’t hear back from you in a reasonable amount of time, I
reserve the right to skip you and move on to the next player.

3.   Once the previous player’s move has been made, I’ll send the updated list to the next random player. Repeat until complete.
The List:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2. Super Mario 64
3. Metal Gear Solid
4. Chrono Trigger
5. Portal
6. Half-Life
7. World of Warcraft
8. StarCraft
9. Super Metroid
10. Tetris

Keep in mind "best" is going to mean different things to different people so I'm not going to scrutinize you for your choices.  However, try to use some discretion in your choices.  Your reasoning should be more than because it's your favorite game.  Tell why it deserves the spot you placed it in.  1 is supposed to be the 'best' best, 10 is 'least best'.

Once the roster fills up, I will PM the list to the first person.  They will send their choice back to me and I will forward the list and so on.

Basically it's just like the we game all know... Just an internet version! I'll start things off by selecting "Truth or Dare" and the person who decides what I have to be truthfully about, or what they dare me to do, then chooses one or the other and so on.

Just keep this light. Don't ask anything super personal that you yourself wouldn't answer and for dares keep it classy as well and something that would work for someone to present evidence of doing via photo, video, or something on the forum. I'm sure we'll all keep this in mind, but you're not comfortable with something, ask that person to choose something else.

I'm feeling adventurous today, so I'll pick dare!]]>

Since there are obviously new members, we could give this another try. If not, we will just let it sink.

The rules remain:

-Every two or three days, a submitted forum member will be chosen.
-This member will be interrogated with questions of other forum members.
-He will be free to decide whether or not to answer a question, without having to justify.

Basic tips for interrogators:

-Please do not repeat the same questions. I do not want the same guy ask five people, "What team are you?" or "What is your favorite game?".
-If questioning, deal with the consequences. If you ask something about a delicate subject, expect responses of the same style.

-Once you register, you are given a number according to your order of arrival.
-To avoid the "first comer, first interrogated", I will choose a random number to know whose turn is it.
-Once somebody is chosen, he will have 24 hours to appear. If you don't show up, you will lose your turn and choose somebody else.
