Splatterhouse 2010 refs to classic splatterhouse games
#1
Okay, since Splatterhouse 2010 is probably one of my favorite games of all time, and it has a slew of trivia, I figured I'd give a rundown of a few things.

First off:

At 6:04, the player finds a large shotgun on the ground. Next to it is the body of a person with a blue shirt and one arm. This is a reference to Army of Darkness and the main character Ash who was famous for having a "big boomstick".

Ok, now moving on to a couple of things I can back up with proof as well.

First off is the credits music of the original Splatterhouse. It is used twice in this game.

2:52 is the original music.

During the 2010 remake, a part of it is played during the game startup before the press start screen before it's cut off by electric guitars.

The second time is in the video i posted first.

It's the music in the elevator, but it is also played in a rock version after the Biggy Man rips the doors off.

Finally, during that same sequence in the 2010 remake, the terror mask say: "Wait wait wait, I know this guy! ...Yeah we are screwed..."

This is a reference to the Biggiman in the original Splatterhouse and how notoriously hard he was to beat.

I have lots more to share about this game, but I want to make sure I'm doing this right ^.^
