Okay guys, we can all agree that the rvial in the 1st generation is the grandson of Prof. Oak right?

Well, here is a source from imgur, which is apparently not a viable source, even though pretty much anyone can see it in the game, and this isn't photo shopped, do I really have to take the picture myself?

I can verify this, and I assume others can. If you go to the Pokemon Center in Lumious city, near the Prism Tower. There is a woman sitting down on the right who says this, can someone re-check so this can be accepted.

I'm really annoyed at this one not being accepted, when even I have seen this.

We didn't accept it because Imgur is not an acceptable source, not because it isn't true. Truth can be found on Wikipedia too, even when the information has no source; we don't want to basically tell people that "this dude says this so it is true" - this thread serves as validation, as indeed, this is true.
I have seen it, and I understand your qualms with the rejection, but we don't want hearsay being validation.

3 people have said this is true, I see that as enough evidence, including the images that give evidence too. One of those people is an admin of this site, which is more favorable. If somebody read the trivia, wanted to see proof, and just saw some images that somebody on the internet took, they have no reason to believe it. Do you understand?
