I saw a bayonetta 2 gameplay and whenever she kills monsters she gets rings similar to the ones from the sonic games. although the game is published by Nintendo.

That seems like a huge stretch. All gold rings look similar.
Also Bayonnetta 1 was published by SEGA. Bayonnetta 2 is published by Nintendo.
