At the Movies!

Today way movie day!

Watched 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' along with 'Total Recall' today. Both remakes and both were great movies!

Though not seeing the original TGWTDT, the remake was good. Of course, I love Craig. And I have seen the original Recall, and one thing I wanted to point out... I loved the fact that they threw in the girl with 3 boobs. But my goodness, that movie had such a great cast! Bryan Cranston, Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel? My goodness!!

Umm... I went to see The Croods.

I thought the computer animation was very pretty and it's amazing how far it's come along over the years! Especially Sid's dog from the first Toy Story is dated now; the realistic fur effects being done nowadays are terrific.

I do tend to like journey movies so, even though I thought the humor was stupid, I don't regret seeing it. It won't be a movie I'll be buying or watch again on TV, though.

I saw Wreck It Ralph on Saturday. I can say, it was a good movie. There are a ton of easter eggs hidden in it as well.

I also saw it recently. I gotta say that I really enjoyed it. I laughed a lot. Sometimes I like to see this kind of movies once in a while. They remember me my childhood, and most of them are preety fun.

I've seen too A good day to die hard. I liked it, but I still prefer the 1st, or the 4rd.

That movie was sooo awesome!! And Vanellope was so adorable!
My favourite easter egg was this "Aerith Lives" written in graffiti. I paused the movie to go get some water and then, when I returned to the couch I was like "DAFAQ??!"

My favorite is probably The Street Fighter 2 Turbo reference becoming story canon.

Saw some weird horror movie on IFC called The Children.

Basically kids get sick and start murdering all the adult. You'd think it would be a lame B movie, but it gets pretty vicious. I had to cover my eyes when one of the kids yanked an earring through a lady's earlobe.

Oh, but one of the dudes in that movie could totally pass as Simon if a live action movie of Adventure Time was ever done.

Sounds like a rip from Children of the Corn.

I just watched two animated movies on VHS with my friend.

First was Heavy Metal. That movie was still just as awesome and confusing as it was when we were kids. The extra scene added after the credits was... weird. Even weirder than the whole movie in itself.

Second was Wicked City. I have no idea how this got rated for 16+ with all the pornographic scenes. I had absolutely no idea that something I thought was gonna be a cool horror anime would have so many sex scenes. That spider woman was one of the creepiest things ever. The plot was so confusing that even the main character admitted he had no idea what was going on.
