Banjo Kazooie spiritual successor canceled

Grant Kirkhope revealed that the game is canceled. I was looking forward to this to be honest.

I was really look forward to the game. I was hoping that it was going to be another Mighty #9.

I would totally like to play a game that hailed back, gameplay-wise, to the N64 era (B-K, or Crash Bandicoot or something). Just levels you have to run through with wacky enemies and music and whatnot.

Aw man. That's a huge disappointment. I would've loved to have seen what they come up with.

The fact that there were a few people who worked on the original Banjo Kazooie as well as this having the composer from the game just made this SCREAM as a true spiritual successor. Now this makes it to the list of "what could have been' for video gaming.
