This being one of my favorite games to play on the N64, I tend to know quite a bit about it.
It's common knowledge Mario sits atop in the referee chair, watching over the match, right?
...Except if he's on the court, then he would be replaced by either Toad or...um...Blue Mario?

At first I thought nothing of it but then I remembered Tennis for NES, which also had Mario as the ref wearing Blue.

It's a cool little throw back to Nintendo's first game featuring the sport.

If you start the game with no controllers plugged in, this humorous screen will appear along with the "Match Point" theme.
