Skullgirls - Peacock Facts and Trivia
#1
[Image: Peacock_skullgirls.jpg]

originally copied from the wiki...

-Peacock is voiced by Sarah Williams, who is known for voicing Sayaka Miki from Madoka Magica. Peacock also has Sayaka as a DLC color palette.
-The name of the Avery Unit references Tex Avery, a prolific cartoon animator.
-Peacock's cartoon revolver bears resemblance to the Smith & Wesson Model 29, a .44 Magnum revolver made famous by Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry.
-Peacock's beartrap-jaws are removable, as seen when she puts them on during her "daily routines" image strip. However, they become somewhat connected to her face on-stage (most likely by a metal spring as seen when she spits them out at her enemies and/or in her Time-Out animation (Peacock pulls on the dislodged set of teeth and quickly retracts them, supporting the metal spring theory).
-Her appearance strongly resembles that of 1980 era cartoon characters. The special effects that emits from her attacks were also made to match her character design (i.e. the "BANG!" flag, comically-shaped bombs,...).
-The name of the Argus System is a reference to Argos, a giant in Greek mythology said to have 100 eyes. According to the myth, the Greek goddess Hera mounted the eyes of Argos onto the peacock's tail when Argos died.
-Peacock's bomb friends, George and Lenny, share the names of the protagonists of Of Mice and Men.
- Originally named Little Boy and Fat Man before Skullgirls' official release, these names were changed to avoid perceived insensitivity to the atomic bombings of Japan during World War II.

...and as a bonus track:

-Ado and Adeleine from Kirby games are based and named after the artist of the game. (it's said to be, so no clue)

What are you disputing? Why are you even posting this if these are just copy pasted from a wiki page?

This isn't where you post trivia, this is where you dispute trivia already on the site.
