Monster Hunter 3U discussion

Would someone highly recommend this game to someone who's never owned or played Monster Hunter before and has had a relative interest in trying the game out? And do you lose any sort of playability by NOT getting the 3DS version too?

I definitely would recommend it. This is the First Monster Hunter I've played/owned, And I honestly cant get enough of this game. I Play it every chance I get. After getting the demo on the 3ds, I Practically bought a Wii-U Just for this game. I Just preferred the Console Version, because of the Bigger Screen and stuff. And I don't think you lose playability without the 3ds version, except you cant play it when you're on trips, unless you take the Wii-U with you. In Any Case, I bought a Wii-U Just for this game, And I don't regret it at all.

Picked up the game on Saturday and I've been playing it ever since.

Anyone have any tips they can share for using the Bow? It seems like an interesting weapon but I've never been very good at using the long ranged stuff.

Oh and the Hunting horn is a funny weapon.

I just started watching WiiRikeToPrays 4 player lets play of it and I think it looks pretty cool and seems very strategic.
