All these years playing Pokemon and I only just noticed this. oTL
I wonder if Game Freak scrapped an idea of Team Rocket using Viridian Forest?

Here is another trivia tidbit I came across. I haven't done any research on this but I thought I'd share it anyway because as an western fan of this franchise, I wasn't familiar with these connections.
