Day of the tentacle HD version that was scrapped by Disney

Old news, but it mentioned something that I didn't notice until now. Before the buyout of Lucasarts from Disney happened. Lucasarts was working on an HD remake of one of their adventure games. That game in question was Day of the tentacle. For reasons unknown(most likely Disney didn't see 'profits' out of it since its not star wars related) the game was scrapped. Let alone that it wasn't pitched to Disney first. By the looks of things. Lucasarts was secretly working on this before Disney bought out the company. I'm not holding my breathe to see this get finished. But if Disney could approve of Tim getting a remake of Grim Fandango made, I don't see why they can't dust this off. Your thoughts?
