I'm not so much disturbed as I am confused. Who does this appeal to? Why would anyone want to play/experience this? Why would someone create this?

I'm not so much disturbed as I am confused. Who does this appeal to? Why would anyone want to play/experience this? Why would someone create this?

It looks like a pretty cool idea. I'm willing to bet that things similar to this will be what future horror games thrive on. Horror games are all about atmosphere and immersion and things like the Oculus Rift and a decapitation simulator will be a fine step for gaming. At least in my opinion, and we all now how odd that can be.

I was playing Terraria earlier and I finally killed the wall of flesh, and activated hard mode...well I figured out hard mode is basically the game saying "Oh you beat the wall of flesh huh...now we're gonna make just about everything destroy you."

I downloaded a few speedruns to watch during freetime at school and I'm simply amazed at the ability some people have to memorize everything about a game. Glitches, hitboxes, map layout, everything.
It also makes me feel a little bad because I saw Super Mario Bros. 3 done in an hour,no warps, and it took me days of dedicated playing to beat (slight exaggeration, but the point is there).

The point of having flower fields is so you can frolic through them...WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING THEM IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT!?!?

Playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl with a bunch of people with around the same skill as you, or a little worse, makes playing the game so much fun. That's what happened tonight. I had lots of fun with it.

I'm pretty bad at the game, but I'm not absolutely terrible at it. This is like the only fighting game I'll play regularly. Same thing goes with Mario Kart for the racing genre.

It was not bad, though I would recommend something different to stream. It may have just been my computer but it was choppier than a samurai sushi chef in Atlantis.

That's probably because it was totally unplanned :D I don't think any settings were set up or tweaked or anything.
He was trying everquest for the first time, then we got absolutely bored about 10 minutes in and he decided to show me Diablo III.

Mario Kart is so much fun when you play with the right people !
That's why I don't really like playing online MK because it tends to be angry people who play the game perfectly. It's no fun if there's no fun to be had.

Really any fighting game online isn't fun unless you're somewhat good at it because the people who play online are always the people who play it all the time, so if you're bad be prepared to get destroyed. I'm sorta good at fighting games so I can at least contend when I go online on SoulCalibur or something.
