Runescape 3
#1

I don't specifically play it anymore, I generally hop on every few months to check up on the updates that take place, and read on the lore as the quests expand, as the world is actually quite interesting. It's also generally interesting to watch as a game as simple as this to have grown by so much.

No matter how much you love/hate it now.
You all had your time where you played it.

Thoughts?

Wait, people still play Runescape? Last I heard of that, I was 7.

I made an account back in 2007 and stopped playing around 2011ish. Back then with each new update the game became progressively worse.

This would not bring me back, what would bring me back is if they made the old school servers f2p.

Oh, come now. We all played it for longer than we care to admit.

I truly doubt they'll actually do that, considering there's enough of a demand, there's money to be made.

I first played in the early 2000s but only because I was 10 and had no idea wtf I was doing. Fast forward to 2005 or 2006 where I am a freshman in high school and me and some close friends are members of Runescape. We played for a few years, my friends worrying about their stats and me worrying about my QP which HAD to have been one of the higher scores. I stopped playing when my friends hacked my account and stole everything that was not bound to my account and so after a week or two of trying to salvage what I could, I just gave up because of years thrown down the pisser.
I tried their newest "client" and it just was not the same.
Heard they were bringing back the older clients but for a fee of 10 a month or something like that and that was NOT including membership fees so I bid farewell to my somewhat sad intro to MMOs as a teenager.
