Battlefield 4 - 17 Minute Gameplay Reveal
#1

Looking really good!

Releases on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 this fall. And I'm sure it'll release on the next xbox if that releases this year (which I'm sure it will).

This video has been removed by the user.

Is there a dailymotion video maybe?

I don't get why they would remove their own video? Because I got that straight from the Battlefield youtube channel.

Edit: Put up a new video from an EA channel again. What happened before was that they changed it so you had to sign in to view it.

Not really into Battlefield but the campaign looks pretty damn good. I played Battlefield 3 at a friends house and it was pretty meh. Short and forgettable. Nothing really stood out. The same looks to be said for BF4 outside of the obviously (but awesome) scripted action sequences.

This looks awesome. The graphics, physics, environments, set pieces, locations, animations everything just looks phenomenal. But it's just another war shooter. Would be better if we got something that had this level of graphics and polish that wasn't a generic war shooter like Crysis3 or BF3. That's not to take away the level of quality here though. Not gonna be buying; lost my interested in war shooters after CoD4.

Best idea ever, give the DRIVER the grenade launcher.

I am saddened by this. I'm afraid it'll become more like CoD, although as this is campaign, it already was.

Battlefield and Call of Duty have one thing and one thing only in common. They're both are well known because of their multiplayer, not single player.

Even though they are both shooters, they both play very differently from one another. And the reason why I've always loved Battlefield more than Call of Duty is because of the multiplayer. Battlefield's is just way more fun.

One of thing gameplay elements I like battlefield is that Snipers are ACTUALLY snipers. You generally can't run around 360 noscope-quickshotting someone upclose. Instead you have to sit on a mountain and point out to your team where the opposition is and then pick them off.

I think it looks great. I like the Battlefield games because they successfully took the high action of FPS and combined with the strategy of an RTS. After they introduced Premium in BF3 I stopped playing and it really left a bad taste. But BFBC2 and 1942 are absolutely fantastic games. EA may not be good, but their games sure as hell are...ok maybe not SimCity.

And it's so tough being a sniper in BF3. I'd rather fly a freaking helicopter than be a sniper (and I'm terrible at flying helo's). It's still a fun game, the only issue I have is finding the right server.
