The Japanese Dreamcast version of the game featured a Network Battle mode, allowing players to fight online via the Dreamcast modem or broadband adapter.
This mode was cut from every other version of the game, with the game's logo take it's place on the menu.
The music associated with this mode is still in the files of PAL and US versions, but goes unused.
