What would happen if the source of a confirmed piece of trivia was suddenly no longer there such as a Youtube video going private or a website shutting down? Does the trivia get deleted?

I suppose the fact is that the trivia was accepted in the first place because it was true.

You could try finding an alternate source with the same details which can be used to replace the dead link or perhaps if the site page has been archived somewhere, use that.

Just confirming what KnowledgeBase said. If you see a piece of trivia with a source that is no longer valid, at the very least, report it and mention that the source is broken. If you'd like, find an alternate source and include it in your report as that will definitely help us deal with it quicker.

Thanks. No, I haven't run into any dead sources yet, but if I do, I'll be sure to do exactly what you recommend.
