Long and short of it, Atlus will no longer get help from NIS America to publish games in Europe and NIS America will not receive help from Atlus to publish games in the US. Whether or not this is Sega's fault or not is unclear, but it wouldn't surprise me. It's also unclear how much of a problem this will be overall for either company as both of them grew considerably while working together, to the point where they might be able to work on publishing on through someone else, or do it themselves. Time will tell, but either way, a partnership that was working well until Sega stepped in has ended and that is honestly a littleĀ sad.
