Damn my work...
On another note, I recently saw Summer Wars. I didn't even know it was from the same dude who has made my favorite anime movie, The Girl Who Leapt Through Tíme. It was awesome. Definitely looking forward to his next film.

I haven't fully watched a good anime since Darker than Black, I did get through 100 episodes of Pokémon during Summer but I don't count that, and since I had a 3 day weekend, I sort of wanted to get into a good comedic anime.
So I looked it up on Google, and found Angle Beats, which is an incredible 2deep4u metal gear solid anime, which I am sad ended so quickly for me. Everything was 10/10. Story, Visuals, Music, Comedy, and the characters, they are really good, I was sad that it ended, I saw the last episode a few hours ago, and I sort of wish they made a sequel or something, but it's been 3 years, so I doubt it. I just started watching Toaru Majutsu no Index, it's decent, currently on Episode 2.

It's been rumored that there would be second season of Angle Beats, but yes it has been a while since it finished, and it's only rumors. As for the existing anime itself, I completely agree that it is amazing, I could see no faults in it and it was actually rushed along to finish in half a season because the funding was cut. I think it could have been so much better if the funding weren't cut, it looked like they wanted to have a back story for every character, but just didn't have enough episodes to do it after they were told they were only doing half a season instead of a full one. I also very much respect the people who wrote the story for that anime, Key, because I have read many of the visual novels that they write, which is what they mainly do, so far I haven't seen anything come from them that was disappointing.

Doubt that, the ending was pretty permanent. I'm happy that such a fantastic series at least got a closure. I've been posting about that for a while now, just recently started watching it too. Keep us posted on your thoughts. Thus far it has been like every other episode makes me wonder why on earth I even keep watching the series and the other half makes me want to watch another episode. I really don't know if I like it or not. Haven't had the issue with any other series before.

Haha, I know. It starts out kind of boring, and then it gets too interesting, and you want to continue. It's a continuous cycle, boring interesting cliffhanger, boring interesting cliffhanger. Heh, every time I looked at all the detail they put in the Anime, I knew that this was a Shenmue deal, and they spent a lot of money to give the Anime a lot of detail, hell they had to change the intro every time, as well as the ending, and the episodes themselves. They should just make small 5 or 10 minutes episodes for each character and their back story. I'm sure everyone want's to know what happened with TK.

TK was hilarious, I'm not sure if you watched it subbed or dubbed, but I watched it subbed and feel I got more out of it than if I had watched it dubbed, for one reason and one reason only, TK speaks English in the original audio too. I was just sitting there hearing all the Japanese people talking, and then out of nowhere TK shows up just yelling "Hey lets dance!", my immediate reaction was "Wait, what the fuck!" followed by laughter, because not only was he just erratic, but he was even more so because he spoke English in a Japanese speaking world. Every time he showed up after that just saying random things in English I couldn't help but laugh because of how out of place it was.

My friend told me to read Death Note, so I did. Well, not all of it anyway. I'd say it's good. I want to know what you guys think of it though.

I watched the series subbed too. TK da man and definitely my favorite character. I'm kinda inclined to buy the DVD box so I can see that DVD exclusive extra episode that I can't find online. And even if I could... It's Angel Beats, man!

Didn't read the Manga much, it was pretty boring.
Anime is 10/10, although it gets boring after episode 21 Believe me, the direction they took with it after that made it boring to watch since it felt like it was being dragged on for no reason. Also, as for Angel Beats. I watched the dubbed. It was alright, except some parts didn't translate very well, or could've just been taken out. Such as "Senpai" being changed to "Upper class men". Wasn't really needed.

Okay, so. It kinda hurts me how excessively shonen A Certain Magical Index is at times and just how incredibly weird it is at other times.
The main character is a mid-class pervert yet acts all oblivious when a female shows interest. Speaking of, for some reason chicks dig him. A lot. He is ready to throw away his life for people he once saw walk over the road two blocks from where he lives (not something that actually happened but you get the picture). Oh, and the teacher... The hell is that character about? A midget that is portrayed as a child who is into alcohol? Throw that in the loli basket this series seems to be drawing from. Don't even get me started on the "tense" scenes that have a character running through a single room for about 5 damn minutes. That for the shonen, then for the weird. Apparently people he used to know back when he was a kid were incredibly scared of his misfortune and thus his parents sent him away and his dad suffered some kind of mental breakdown (don't worry, not a spoiler as it was only briefly mentioned and doesn't really matter anyway). Honestly, if this was the case in everyday life, I would have been sent away too. Seriously, my luck is that bad and I'm well known for it. Then there's all the science and magic talk, most of which I understand none of and makes most of the "explanations" pointless, at least for me. Speaking of magic, the whole Chritsian church thing is just ridiculous and stupid. I'm no religious fanatic, far from it, but they could have just replaced it with any made-up cult and nothing would have changed. The only reason they used Christianity is to explain a brief appearance of an angel. Who is a little girl in a skimpy outfit, of course. But this is anime so don't worry, she's totally legal. Btw, on the Christianity... It has been used so well in other manga/anime, like Hellsing or Chrono Crusade. In here, not so much and is just a throwaway they use to explain anything occult (most of which being something that the actual religion would outright ban anyway). There's my rant and still I keep watching this. Why? I have no idea. Oh, and Index is a total asshole.

I've never been a huge Anime fan or Manga fan, I've only read the Pokemon Red and a few of the .Hackers, and I've only watched Sword Art Online, some of the Pokemon manga, and a few episodes of One Piece, Naruto, and Code Geass. I know it doesn't really count, but I effing love Avatar the Last Airbender.
