I was playing Kirby's Dream Land 3 and when I was looking at the game's Bad Ending and one enemy name stood out to me. It was a spider-like enemy whose name was Mariel.

The name had an uncanny resemblance to another spider-like being, an angel from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, here's an image for comparison:
