Agreed - I'm not following here. The Resource sites don't really have tiers of approval - items are submitted and queued, staff approves or rejects.

I guess my understanding is a bit questionable in the matter. I'm thinking something like someone who can't necessarily approve or reject submissions but can put bookmarks for notice with details on why they think something should be approved or rejected. Could help with the load without necessarily handing someone the gavel so to speak.

You may be thinking of revisions on the resource sites which is something members can submit to suggest changes to an already approved item. There is no way for members to browse the queue of pending submissions, barring the list of their own.

Implementing a feature as you described here would likely be more work than it would help to alleviate but I do appreciate trying to come up with some new ideas!

So I have been thinking about the idea of implementing some sort of sistem that prevents the site getting overflooded with trivia again (this sistem, logically, would be implemented once it is allowed to post trivia submissions again).

Basically, put a restriction that limits users to only posting up to 3 trivia submissions per week.

That seems more like a bandaid to me than an actual solution. It would be difficult to actually implement (I'd basically need to check all submissions and approved trivia for the last 7 days each time someone goes to submit something) and it likely wouldn't make a huge difference in terms of actual flow (either it would stagnate or overflow, depending on staff availability). Unfortunately, the only real answer is more staff but that's far easier said than done.
