Now I don't own a Wii U, but if this does happen, I'll be happy to see it. Seems smart to me since even Sony and Microsoft don't do that.

I can see them transferring all of the VC games. I wonder if they will do the same for Wii U games that are downloaded?
No news on what VC systems there will be.

The last VC games I bought were on the Wii. That would be nice to be able to transfer or re-download.

That would actually be a really smart move by Nintendo. Supporting the Wii VC games, by letting you transfer them via a Poke-ban sort of thing or simply through external drives would be nice.

Yeah but....this is too good of an idea for Nintendo.

I don't know, it does sound too good to be true, but since they are moving forward with some ideas that modern gaming has, I imagine most VC games will probably be just be sold for cheap, 5 to 10 dollars and such. Maybe certain gamecube games at 15.

I hope the GameCube games are 15!
NES - $5
SNES - $8-$10
N64 - $10
NGC WOULD BE GREAT IN-BETWEEN HERE
Wii - $20 ($10 if they do a 1 week sale on release)

I don't know how many Wii games they'd port to the Switch, but I think those should probably go for 13 as well, unless we're talking Mario Kart/Galaxy or Zelda. Also, anything from the Wii U will probably just be ported like Mario Kart 8 is, although if they do say, Xenoblade Chronicles X, I imagine that would go for 40.

I'll say this.. Once we can transfer all of our crap to the Switch that is allowed, my Wii U will have all warranties broken.

Well, I know what I WON'T be getting on the 3rd of March.

Jeez, the more research I do on the Switch makes it feel like a huge investment and a chore it would be to get one. Not just the fact about questionable online services( I don't care because I don't even do online and never will if they keep continuing this Necessary Evil BS) but how there is only one game worth getting on launch, accessory being crazy expensive, limited storage, TWO gimmicky IP Games at retail price($60) and the part where it is useless as a portable feature. Who in their right mind would think it is a great idea lugging this around when the BATTERY ONLY LAST 2.5 TO 6 HOURS DEPENDING ON THE GAME? It honestly feel like a luxury feature because the only people i see carrying Tablet-based electronics around is kids and/or business folks.

For now, I will just wait when Fire Emblem Warriors and Dragon Quest XI comes out, because right now, I came out unimpressed by the Switch Presentation and I will hate myself if I end up having to justify myself on the Switch shortcoming.

An article I read stated that the Switch would charge faster in an outlet directly compared to charging on the dock. If I read that correctly, I can use accessories in my vehicle to continually charge my Switch; unfortunately, I'm the one who always drives and I'm not so sure I want to allow my kids to bring the Switch along on car trips (I cannot remember how many time they dropped or threw my 3DS).

I told my wife that I would buy the Switch for two reasons: Zelda and I've never owned a brand new console when it was released.

On the bright side, a guy I work with is jelly.

Remember the first video on the switch?
You can get that handy-dandy switch tablet holder that goes on the back of the car seat head rest to slide the sucker in and all they have are the joy-cons.
Wait.. you want to make sure they are playing games that do not involve motion controls, otherwise I can see those suckers go FLYING

I am buying this for many of the reasons they showed in this commercial.
Especially the toilet scene.
