#1
Nintendo has declared January of 2017 the time where they will hold a global livestream presentation that will give more details about the launch and pricing of the Nintendo Switch.

Not only that but they will present the Launch titles as well as other games in developement.

It seems quite on track from what they have been as of late. Thoughts on what those titles are? Besides port.

I'm still pretty skeptical and leaning on "Wii U 2: Electric Booagloo" so I don't expect much.

The only way Nintendo could "wow" me is if the launch line up is really good, and I'm talking 5-10 games good, I don't want to see "Here's Gimmick Game Number 1 for the Switch tablet, Zelda, a meh Mario game, Skyrim, Fifa 17, Party game number 1, a game you can get on the Xbox One and PS4 but this time for the Switch and maybe one original IP" I want to see "Here's Zelda, Mario, F-Zero, Metroid, Kid Icarus, Kirby" or "Here are some games from THAT MASSIVE LIST OF THIRD PARTIES"

I'm not asking for much here Nintendo, just give us an idea of what you're planning with this games wise and we can all feel better about the future.

Well that's fucking dumb. That is literally giving people two months or so to figure out if they can afford it, what games are on it, and still giving them plenty of time to push it out of their minds between now and then. If they system goes up for pre-order before that event, the pricing part is pointless. If it doesn't, then a lot of sales are going to be lost because people may not have the money, and more than that, a lot of smart gamers aren't going to buy a damn system without any idea what's on it. These fools. This info should be available next month. Now, more than ever, I hope the damn Switch is delayed into summer, because they just screwed themselves out of a lot of sales by lacking marketing to get the thing off the ground. What idiots.

Yeah...this is a bad idea. It's one thing to keep your fans waiting on information for your next console for a grueling amount of time (though the reveal was DEFINETELY more than worth it), but now you're going to sit on further information just two months before it gets released? Yeah, Nintendo's going to be lucky if this doesn't backfire on them.

This can actually work the other way around, though. This can give people time to prepare funds for buying the system, games, etc. or actually build hype for the full info of the switch.

I could see that maybe working that way if people are so loyal to Nintendo that they only buy Nintendo games, but with Kingdom Hearts getting two games in the first few months of 2017, Persona 5, Resident Evil 7 whatever might come from PSX this year and a slue of other games, that really may not happen.

I suppose it'll matter when in January Nintendo will reveal it.

I'm pretty excited for it. I just want them to state as much as possible because this is 2 months before launch
