Smash WiiU's Masterpeice Mode rus NES games better than the WiiU's Virtual Console
#1
The emulated NES demos featured in the "Masterpeice" collection seem to run NES games at a higher quality than the actual Virtual Console versions they are promoting.

(Notice how blurry the Virtual Console version is compared to it's Masterpeice counterpart.)

So basically, the masterpieces demos are somewhat better than the actual games they are selling... I guess it's fair to assume that they bribed their consumers?

Not necessarily, the Virtual Console was introduced early into the WiiU's life and likley used similar emulation to that of the Wii's. Nintendo has gotten alot better at the emulation quality over the years and seeing as Smash U was released alot later it would only make sense to use this improved system. It's also been mentoined that NES Classic edition has a similar quality to that of the Masterpeice demos, so I think it's safe to assume that this just shows Nintendo has improved there emulation abilites rather than them trying to purposfully mislead people.
