Breath of the Wild's Development Cycle
#1
I did discuss if it would be a Good Submission, so now I'm considering posting a Submission on Breath of the Wild's Development Cycle once we're able to post Submissions again, I hope it can phrase it well

Beta64 was kind enough to explain it's Development Cycle and it's Beta in this video, I bet many Contributors will be posting trivia from this when we can post Submissions again once the queue is cleared. But for this submission, we're talking about the Development Cycle. (Note: If they do a DYKG Video on Breath of the Wild and it mentions the Development Cycle, I can put that in as well).

It seems that Breath of the Wild was in development since 2011, with Aonuma wanting to have tonnes of details and be able to greatly expand on it.

Aonuma basically talked about it for the first time in the last 7 minutes of this Nintendo Direct on January 23rd 2013, saying how they have plans for a Zelda Game with so many gameplay possibilities, but it would not release for a while.

At E3 2014, the game's first screens were revealed, along with the announcement of a 2015 release date.

This remained the case for almost a year, atleast to the point of the 2014 Game Award Show.

In March 2015, Aonuma announced it would be delayed to 2016 after much more Gameplay Possibilities came into mind, pushing them away from a 2015 aim.

This stayed the case for a while, even as far as this Nintendo Direct on November 12th 2015.

In April 2016, the game was delayed again to 2017 so that it could released simultaneously on Nintendo's Next Console, the Switch as well.

The first Playable Experience came at E3 2016 on the Wii U.

Our beliefs came true of the fact that the game would be released at the Switch's Launch.

Note: If links to Interviews also seem worth putting into this, I can do that as well, if I happen to find any.

It seems it's development went for a fair majority of the Wii U's Life Cycle. I know it was hyped, and there'd been disappointment after it was delayed twice, and that it hadn't appeared in many presentations up until it's release. Watchmojo.com even put the game in their Top 10 Upcoming Games of the Year list for the Year 3 years in a row. Overall, I hope this'll make a good submission someday. Beta64's video might even say stuff that I hadn't mentioned in this paragraph regarding the development. When the time comes, I'll as usual phrase it as best as I can, but I'll guess VGFacts Staff may make some adjustments if they decide it's approvable.

UPDATE: Here's also a Documentary about it's Development: https://mynintendonews.com/2017/03/13/ni...pment/amp/
