I'm all over this one and I hope it does as well as Shovel Knight to get all the way up to that Vita tier, for sure.

The combat looks like it could be pretty addicting, but the game itself looks really generic as a whole.
Also, a weird thing to pick at, but did they steal those ground-ovals from the beginning from Pokemon?

I dunno, man. It looks awesome to me. Like Plants Vs Zombies crossed with Advance Wars & Fire Emblem, or something.

looks like a large scale of the megaman network games.

I was thinking the same thing.

I don't want to repeat that I was thinking the same thing but... I was. Looks like a much more fun version of the MMBN style battle--with obviously more stuff thrown in there.

That's what someone else I know said. Even though GBA was my jam, I have actually never played any of the Battle Network games... I can see the similarity, though.

The sprite engine in this game is just so cool, to me.

This game looks pretty rad. I'm loving those sprites.

Can't say I'm enthusiastic of the amount of kickstarters there have been as of late.

Anyways, it looks neat.

I pretty much backed the game because of that awesome sprite art. It's just so nice looking.

I'm really hoping they make the Wii U stretch goal... I'd love to play it there. Then again, don't you have to contribute $40 to get the option to get anything other that PC/Steam? I'm too lazy to look...

$40 is Steam, soundtrack, all future DLC free, and everything in the lower tiers... but the Steam Greenlight has to be approved by the the time the game releases. It took Shovel Knight up til the last couple of days to be approved.

The tiers will probably be adjusted as time goes on if other goals are met... Shovel Knight didn't get 3DS&WiiU support until a few days into it, and they added that as part of the $15 tier. I'm just hoping for Vita tier to be met, and the PC version @ $10 is what I'll settle for if it doesn't. I may adjust my pledge to $40 next month if it gets closer to some of it's extra goals.

...and yeah, that sprite art is awesome. If I was rich I'd donate $250 to be a zombie in the game or $300 to be a hero.

I like how one tier is solely dedicated to Cheevos, because everyone needs them cheevos. And I agree the game looks like Megaman Battle Network with too many characters on the board.

They Bleed Pixels was a cool game, and Shovel Knight is another awesome guest star. God I hope this game ends up on Vita, one way or the other.

Here's another cool looking game I found on Greenlight and kickstarter called Chasm:

It's like YSIII, Popful Mail, Metroidvania, Zelda II, Faxanadu etc and looks so cool. Music reminds me of "Tragedy" by RZA.

At this rate, it doesn't look like they'll get to the 3DS, which is a damn shame. It seems like the game would fit there nicely.
