They have a like with some Old Stars from the old days... (Simisage - Elvis Presley) (Simisear - ?) (Simipour - Marilyn Monroe)

Anyway, on topic I'm not so sure about them being based on stars, but I think there is something slightly interesting about the pre-evolutions.
