Spoiler:That's not Master Chief, that's Spartan 458 (Nicole) from Dead or Alive 4. The character itself is canon to Halo but the events of DOA4 aren't. Also, Master Chief's number is 117

The way everything was presented, the way all the gaps were filled, it makes a lot of sense.
