TV tech help?
#1
I went to play my N64 but I could barely hear it. I even turned the tv volume all the way up. When I watch tv it's normal though. Any ideas on what it could be or how I could fix it? I'm not very good with newer technology.

What cables are you using. RF or RBG?

I honestly don't know how to answer that question. I don't know what that means. Like, I'm really bad with current technology. I don't know how to tell what type of cables I have.

RF is a single connection.

RGB is the one with the Red, Green and Blue cables. (White, Yellow and Red cables sometimes)

1st is RGB
2nd is RF

If you're using RGB, make sure the cables are in the colour they are meant to be. Each colour represents something, with Red and White being audio, and Yellow being a picture. If they're in the wrong end, or not pushed in enough, they won't display.

If it's RF it could be the cable itself.

I see! I have the white, yellow and red ones. I checked those first. All good. Later, i'll plug it into my bedroom tv to see if it's the system. Ill also take a picture of that because my bedroom tv is about the size of a sheet of notebook paper.

Just make sure the Red and White ones are in firmly, and in firmly with the N64.

Mine has problems like that, but it's the damn connector, it doesn't fit in very well with the N64 and has video issues and sometimes sound.
