The most annoying things in video games?

Hmm... That is indeed problematic. As I have never played the games I really don't know much about them. Is there even a regen spell?

For healing, Kingdom Hearts has cure, cura, curaga, potions, elixers, etc.
The second game did a much better job of it though. You don't really see count down killing and in certain boss fights, if Sora falls, Mickey jumps in and you can charge up his ability to revive Sora and you continuously whack the boss with Mickey.

They even added a item crafting system if I remember correctly.

Does the game not have an Auto Life spell or an equivalent? I know that in some games casting Revive (or a similar spell) acts as an Auto Life too.

Nope, no Revive or Auto Life. If a party member gets KO'ed you just use a Healing Potion or a Cure spell on them and up they go but if you are the main character (ie Sora) and you get KO'ed then it's game over.

There are some little abilities you can give each character that generate a random chance of staying alive when critically hit or keeping 1hp. But again with Sora, if that doesn't work you lose the game and must start over.

Thankfully though, if you start over with a Continue you don't lose any items you may have used like Elixir or group items like Mega Potion/Ether/Elixir. These ones are far more valuable and with the exception of Potion hard to come by as there is no item creation recipe for it in the game as far I am right now in it. (Currently playing it, hence why it is on my mind right now).

I think you may be wrong. I think one of the boss cards has a revive effect. It's Vexen's card I think. It would be weak to fire but the final boss does not have fire attacks (if I remember) so you should be fine.

Well I haven't gotten to that yet, I'm still replaying KHI and working my way towards that again. I'll try and keep that in mind when it comes up.

I am curious though, can you assign cards like that to my support characters (Donald and Goofy) to use. I'm not 100% certain but if Sora gets KO'ed then game over.

I know KHII has King Mickey come in but not until you meet up with him and then only at random moments. It is never a certain thing.

Sometimes I even transform into some weird dark and feral Sora. I have the strategy guide for KHII and I think it said somewhere when you try and do a transformation/overdrive mode that randomly you turn into that, or have Mickey come and help.

It was the end boss fight where one of the moves is either a one hit kill or your health is high enough and it just brings it down to 1 and all of your card/resources are expelled from you. So not only do you have to dodge his attacks, but you have to get healed and reclaim all your stuff else you can't properly fight him.

Same thing with those special/extra/hidden boss battles that are insanely difficult for one reason or another in the KH game. Best example would be the Grim Reaper looking boss in KH1 at the Clocktower in Neverland. It has an attack that starts a count down. Now if it reaches 0, you die. So if you are at the relative start of the fight and you get this, you either have to be insanely strong or have some god mode cheat that I don't know about in place to keep you alive cause if you die, game over please start at the beginning of the fight once more.

I see what you were talking about. No, you can't revive from the Phantom's one hit kill.

Phantom is kinda hard if you really have no idea how to fight him. Basicly you have to go in with Stop as quick selct. Fire, Ice, or Lightning need to be the other two. When you start the fight cast stop on the clock when he casts the spell. This will last for two "Attacking phases" (the time you can attack him). On the threed time, he will start it up agin and you need to cast Stop agien. Needless to say you need A LOT of Ethers/Elxers To cure your MP bar.

Kert is a pain untill you get his pattern down and are a high level. I have beaten both twice.

I have yet to beat Sepheroth and the Ice Titan, and I do not have the PS3 version, so I guess you could add the Unknown as well.

You can't use cards on Donald and Goofy, if that's what your asking.

King Mickey can be summoned only in ceirten boss fights. These being Shan-Yu, Thresholder and Possessor, Shadow Stalker and Dark Thorn, Cerberus, Hydra, Blizzard Lord and Volcanic Lord, Storm Rider, Xaldin, Grim Reaper (Battle 1), and Armored Xemnas (Battle 1).

As for Anti Sora, it's a random form that hapens more and more fequent the more you use your forms. This is what the Wiki says:

Everytime you use Valor, Wisdom or Master Form, the counter goes up by one.
0 = 0%
1-4 = 10%
5-9 = 25%
10+ = 40%
Everytime you use Anti Form, the counter goes down by 4.
Every time you use Final Form, it goes down by 10.
Mission battle (Command Menu outline is red) cause the counter to double for that mission.
Organization XIII boss battles causes it to multiply x5.
Game Finale (when possible) causes it to multiply x10.

I had actually forgotten that strategy for beating him. Before I would just wail on him till he was dead and heal accordingly when I needed to.

I have by sheer luck beaten Sephiroth both times in KHI and KHII. The Ice and Rock Titans were pretty simple if a bit tedious in how you beat them. Basically I just went into the stands for the Ice Titan cause there is no effective way I found to fight him while in the center of the arena. Rock Titan I think I just dodged his attacks and attacked his feet (unsure, been awhile).

Is Kert that mutli-armed armored Heartless you fight in the dessert of Agrabah? If so, yes I agree you need to be at least Lv. 60+ with a lot of Elixirs/Potions/Ethers cause magic is actually quite effective, that and healing magic too.

I should mention Load Times. Man why is it that even after technology is advanced, the load times are still there? Good thing Nintendo games don't have much of load times and even if they had, it doesn't show the "Loading" and if that's the case, its still faster.

Kurt Zisa, yea. I spell it Kert only becuse I can never remember to add the u in his name and I can't spell his last name. I hate doing his battle with anything lower than 60 because of his No magic phase.

I know what you mean. I hate doing 100% on a game that has to reload the stage when you fail it. I ended up hating Pac-man's smiling face after doing a hard timed mission on Pac-man World 2.

Anti-flinch enemies. Even worst, the enemies grab you faster than you can react.

That's you, Ninja Gaiden 3.

The original, the new or Razor's Edge?

I'm gonna go with "new" but which version?

Oh good lord yes. That was so annoying. Especially if you save at camp, go away and then come back then go somewhere. So for at least 5 min. minimum you are waiting for a load screen to first load in your save, then you leave, then a load screen for where you go, and if where you go only leads to another location within that one like if you went to Denirum then you are screwed again.

When everyone's enjoying a fairly balanced game and one guy with stats way higher then everyone else joins and lopsides the match entirely.
