Yasuhisa Kawamura, a designer who worked on the Sega game Rise of Nightmares for Xbox 360, has stated in a recent interview that he named a weapon found during the latter half of the game as a kind of an inside joke of his own. This weapon is Azoth, a mystical weapon, whose name originates from the same mythos as the name of the railcannon called Paracelsus' Sword used near the end of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Kawamura was the scenario writer of that game.
