Mighty No.9 kickstarter
#1
Legendary developer Keiji Inafune(Megaman) has started his Kickstarter for a new Megaman style game that's not Megaman, while being Megaman(I dunno)...and as of writing this, it's already been funded.
You can find out more here:

Fuck yes Mega Man is basically back.

Also lol at Capcom saying that no one wants Mega Man anymore, if that was true then how the hell did this get its £900,000 goal reached in less than two days?

It is amazing to see that number go so high up. It's like watching the amount of money donated is a game itself.

Not that there is much to worry about, but I really hope they get that 2.2 million goal. I really want to see this game, with all the things the stretch goals have added, playable for console gamers.

I agree.

Normally I don't even like Kickstarter. But this... This is beautiful, I really want to see this game reach it's full potential and become the best game it can be.

Also is it just me or does 2 of the possible designs for Call look like Roll/Ciel and Aero/Pandora? If my hunch is right then the only platformer based Mega Man series not referenced is X, which I find odd as that's the second most important Mega Man series.

I am not a huge Megaman fan but this looks awesome and maybe it will be as big as Megaman. One thing I hope people avoid doing is calling it Megaman 2.0 or something stupid like that.

Might back it near the end of the campaign because I might like this when I did not like Megaman.

I was kind of thinking that about the designs as well. Doesn't bother me much though, I've always liked the way those characters look.

Only $400,000 and I'll be able to play this on PS3!

Just a little over 200,000 now. I'm amazed at how quickly the money is coming in. Perhaps this will be a wake up call for capcom to start working on megaman again.

I just checked my e-mail and I didn't get a code :(
Hopefully will do tomorrow. I back about £80 into this, so I hope I get a code.
