I can see from an financial point on why it's done but I kinda feel that two crowdfunding campaigns aren't needed.

Now. This is a documentary for Ren and Stimpy. I(along with some of my online friends) were interviewed for this. Now this was originally a kickstarter project, but the kickstarter didn't meet its goal. Here's a plan B for its funding. Its at 64% now.
