Yes, let's please get this off the ground as soon as possible. I have multiple videos related to old games that I want to upload for the community channel, but if nothing comes in the next few weeks, it's going on my own individual channel.

I'm having some trouble signing us up for a youtube account. Can someone help me? It's only allowing me to sign in and not sign up.

Try creating a brand new Gmail account named Plebian Aggregate and creating a channel with that Gmail. Call that it's real name. Should be simple. To upload long videos, you will need a confirmed phone number that can receive text messages.

We also will need a snazzy photo for the channel, so if anyone wants to get to work on that. For the channel art at the top, I suggest everyone involved get a good head shot of themselves and we put all those faces over a rainbow background.

I'm pretty sure you gotta make a Google account then link it to Youtube.

Indeed. As epic as it would be, I dont think a rainbow would really work. (If you were serious, anyway.) I was thinking something with blue and red. Or maybe an image thats blue on top, fades to white in the middle, and goes to red on the bottom.

Thats just my inner America thinking.

Lets not worry about faces being shown. If this works out, we're probably going to have to update it every couple weeks with people joining and quitting.

Actually the first thing I thought when I read that was the original color scheme of DYKG. I think the colors were the other way around, though.

I don't mind if people (channel group members) have the password. The problem that I have is coming up with something that everyone can remember. I (or one one of the few people looking over the channel) can always change it latter if needed but I would like to come up with one I like first.

If we're doing the podcast thing at some point I could record some random game footage to run so it's not just a blank screen with voices. Unless someone wants to actually animate the thing, of course.

I dont think everyone has to remember it. I mean, yeah, they kinda do, but if atleast one person remembers the password, then we can just give the password out to the person who forgot it again.
