I saw a lets play video for Mario Kart DS and I couldn't even recognize the tracks or the karts the person was using and I beat that game 100% with everything unlocked.

I wish that would happen with me; I could enjoy some of my old favorites all over again! I may forget chunks here and there, but for the most part I remember the games that I've played pretty well. Probably because I sucked so much at them I had plenty of time to soak up memories xD
So, yeah.

I just found out that I don't have to spend about £100 on Gamecube component cables when I could just buy component cables for the Wii for £3 and play Gamecube games from that.

Hell, I think I have some lying around.

Why did it take me so long to figure this out?

Actually ironically that happened with me in Payday 2 i got the collectors edition first day but stopped playing i'd say 2 or 3 months, 3 months later it became free and i did not remember anything because of them updating the game so much. And that actually happened with my brother today where he found his favorite PSP game dissida final fantasy, And he was garbage at it at first because he was rusty
F-Zero DYKG:

My facts:
AX files in F-Zero GX
the stage st00
Recreation of Silence from F-Zero X being cut
Vegas Palace renamed Casino Palace
Hell Hawk renamed Blood Hawk
James McCloud connections
Fox and Falco entering the G-Zero grand prix
Both F-Zero and Star Fox having G-Diffusers
That PJ reference I actually submitted at one point, but Dazz said it wasn't trivia worthy as it's only a theory
I originally submitted that Chaos piloted the saucer also.

Ooooooooohhhhhhh yea.

i went to check the payday 2 triva and a BUNCH of easter eggs/references are missing. Payday 2 is one of those games where everything could be a possible easter egg/reference i went ahead and submitted a few i knew right off the bat

Sounds like someone should do a little research and add them in. I would help, but I really could careless about the game (kiding) and I'm lazy at the moment (the real reason).

I am disappointed, guys. There were two points in the videos that you could have posted something of mine. The first was when you were talking about refrances to Nintendo stuff. You could have put in that Captain Falcon's name when he enters the race in Chapter 3 was Famicom (Japanese version of the NES). The other was when you were talking about the sonic/Sega references. You could have put the two bosses from Shadow the Hedgehog, Blue Falcon and Black Bull.

Just some missed opportunities. Still pretty good.
I do have to say one thing about the video. I would not have guessed pulling Smooth McGroove to voice it in a million years. I only think of his singing. But, he really did kill the reading in the DYKG video also. And, I guess he does have one of the most popular F-Zero videos on youtube.
Payday 1 pretty much has most of the trivia since there are not many trivia for it. Payday 2 on the other hand is missing alot i submitted 5 or so trivia some based on some trophy references and some on Masks reference (Like how the death dillinger mask is based on John Dillinger the most notorious bank robber who ever lived). on the other hand i have 8 levels left until i am maxed 92/100
ObsCure II in the bag! Had to pay a salty 35€ price for it but that game is hard enough to find to justify that price.

Damn dude. I got a few of them from eBay for £2. I've used the same cable for 2 years now for YouTube videos with no problems. Heck, I'd send you one. Where did you spend £100 to get component cables from? D:

Just yesterday in CEX I found Twilight Princess for the GameCube . I was about to poop my pants until I saw the price.
£48 (€58)
...then i just vomited in my mouth. That's such BS. That's CEX for you though, they use eBay prices to scumbag their customers.
I really want it and it's in such good condition, but wow. CEX pls.

Actually, the Dillinger death mask is a real thing. After he was killed by the FBI, at least I think it was the FBI, they took a mold of his face and that is his 'death mask'.

I bought the game on a Finnish bidding site, much like eBay, and the same problem is present there. The prices are just converted from eBay, including what it would cost to ship, meaning games cost a lot more than what they are actually worth.

I bit the bullet, though. I've had a really hard time trying to find a PAL version of the game.
I just realized that my favorite games have incredibly complicated stories. I honestly don't think it's possible to explain to someone the entire story of the Kingdom Hearts or Metal Gear Solid series in under 40 minutes. More if the person doesn't play video games, because I've found that somehow complicates it further.

I think Kingdom Hearts would be easy to explain, but you would have to brace them for 3D. Now Metal Gear. Metal Gear is a WHOLE nother barrel of fish. with KH, we only had 2 characters being the same person and people inside of people (that sounds worse than it really is), but with Metal Gear, we have plans to take over Russia, a military group formed in the 60's (I think) that is still giving commands even after there deaths, and the plots to destroy/take over/change America or whatever MGS4 was about, and that's not getting into the back storys of the characters. I love watching people play Metal Gear, but Kojima adds way too much background for a video game series.
