I just beat X-COM Enemy Unknown on easy. It may sound pathetic but I have literally never been more stressed in a game ever. I've had easier times fighting final bosses in Tekken games, I've found it easier invading Russia in a land war during the winter, I've had easier times winning tournaments on the hardest difficulty on DBZ games. MAN, I love this game.
MY LIFE IS FLASHING BEFORE MY EYES!!! A RESIDENT EVIL GAME THAT MASS DISTRACTION DOESN'T HAVE TRIVIA FOR!!! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE WORLD!?!

I heard that Grant Kirkhope was on an episode of Game Grumps, so I typed "Game Grumps", started to type "Grant Kirkhope" into Google, and do you know what one of the fill in options were? "Game Grumps Grant Kirkhope Rule 34".

NOPE NOPE NOPE

EDIT: LOL! He's really got a potty mouth! Gotta admit I'm having trouble with the accent as well since he talks so fast.

You do know that the video is on VGFacts, right? Just look at DK 64 or Banjo Kazzoie.

Also, I don't want that kinda Rule 34.

Oh, that's an easy one to answer. That's the only RE game I have not played. Reason being, my only Nintendo console (apart from handhelds) is the NES. I have read the book but that hardly helps when it comes to VG trivia :P

I found one on a French forum too that is not on the site (i think).

If you play RE4 on the Dolphin emulator and pause the game while using the flying camera you can see this:

But is that merely something the hacker added in the ROM for lulz?
Apparently it's in the game if you use a free camera and it's in the real game.
With that you can found what Samus looks like in Metroid Prime for example.

But for Metroid it ruin the game if i show it XD

I have a screen of the codec from RE4 too.

So you need a mod to see these? No wonder I didn't know about them, I don't play on PC, let alone use any mods.

Yes,

There's also a free cam mod for the PC version but that's irrelevant. I don't play RE games on emulators either.
I really wish I knew more lady gamers so we could get together and make our own video called Anita Sarkeesian Doesn't Speak for me where we, as real gamers*, would call out her points of view that we disagree with as well as say what we as individuals feel are the real problems with gaming.

In my personal opinion what's truly "sexist" are the real life people rather than the games themselves. Yes, as a female I'm not always happy with what I encounter when I play games, but what's so much worse is the marketing that seems to go out of its way to exclude women. Nintendo was especially bad with putting women in rather confusing commercials that had them playing a game and yet proudly saying "I am not a gamer". One even involved a women needing help with a simple puzzle in a Layton game from her boyfriend.

Another big reason you don't see lady main characters is because I've noticed dudes make such a big deal out of it. One even made a big deal about playing as the girl in Persona 3 PSP, while I was just sitting there shaking my head since I had no issues playing as a boy in the initial release.

I agree with you Hex. Coming from a guy, I have to say that this looks like the stereotypical feminist "I want to be equal, but on a higher level than men" speech, even though that's not how they should act and not how most of them think. Yes, most stereotypes for women are bad, but most women don't know or completely ignore the side-effects that games have on men.

As for her idea that "I want to be a gamer but I don't want to shoot people or rip off heads. That's just gross." The problum with that is that she is ignoring a long list of games that don't belong in this catagory.
  • Pokemon
  • Zelda
  • Cooking Mama (a female lead too)
  • Persona (though that one has some shooting)
  • Metriod (another female lead)
  • Mario

She even said that she played mario before and that has the person stomping the enemy. My whole problum with Peach is that she is a badly writen charicter. She started out as the one hope for the kingdom and now she's just a plot devise.

The only real problum that we have is that we are turning female charicters into manly girls, which can work but where would all our motherly woman go. As much as I like Tifa over Arith (I have no idea how to spell her name, and don't care to look it up), I really don't see Tifa as a mother who would stay at home while Cloud went to war. We really need a mother like character who does realistic female things. Just saying.

That's the thing though. There's different types of "gamer females". I've known throughout most of my life females who do "men things". They think boobs are awesome, spend hours in the training room in SF4 or grind for hours in a JRPG. But they aren't the loud annoying ones. They're the type I get on with because they don't wave their identity around as opposed to others. I laugh at every single person that calls themseves a "gamer" and even single person that calls herself a "female gamer" as to say they've made some sort of stride and they have to differ themselves.
I played Killer is Dead, Lollipop Chainsaw with female friends who thinks they're funny and Gears who can win a match. But you talk to them as a human, not a female [insert title].
Anita Sarkessian is what's why females are still looked down and not taken seriously.

Edit: Oh and the YouTube Application for the 3DS is one of the most horrendous applications I've ever seen in my life. I highly recommend everyone download it to see how bad it is.

She may be a bitch, but you gotta give it to her, she scammed a lot of retards for money, and pretty much got away with it.
