Turns out he (Napoleon) was indeed 5'07". Would have figured he was shorter than that.

Well, Napoleon was indeed taller than the average man for his time. However, political cartoonists drew him as a tiny little guy as a way to make him appear infantile and poke fun at him. Through these highly inaccurate cartoons, people began to believe that he was a very small man; something that has continued down to this day.

Fun history lesson for ya'll.
