All the butthurt posts from my Scottish friends who voted yes are a joy to read. Not because I like their loss, but because they sound like conspiracy theorists, saying that Westminster called old people, and that Putin funded the no campain.

I'm kinda glad the union continues :)

I don't know. I think it'd be interesting to see what would happen if they branched off. They'd in their own right became a Scottish Dubai or UAE from some views.

Yeah... it would have been very interesting to see how the situation would have played out. As in super-super-interesting. Ah well, we have the Catalonians in November, not that the central Spanish gov't is paying much heed to it.

Be careful, Texan friends, some dimwit decided to come back from Liberia with Ebola...
So there's potentially a plane-load of Ebola carriers who got it off him during the flight galavating around.

Its actually quite fortunate that it arrived here in Texas as opposed to say, New York or another overly tight space. It is indeed unfortunate that the person went to Dallas, but there are a few good things going for him and those he potentially affected.

Texas is spaced out dramatically. There are spaces between towns that are bigger than some countries, and Houston in particular has some of the best hospitals on the planet.

That bastard article misspelled my local newspaper as "Daupiné Liberé" when it's actually "Dauphiné Libéré".
I hope the author gets fired.
