The Free Gaming Thread v2 : Electric Boogaloo
Sweet. I'll check that out after my shower.

I should keep track of how many people have thought I'm a dude xD
After having some time with Destiny I can say that it did not live up to the hype. Story isn't interesting, missions and environments are repetitive and the loot drops are stupid. The fact that I have not interact with any online players makes me question why this game must be online always. I think the only thing that makes me keep playing is the combat because that is very well done and reminds me of Halo.
HOLY SHIT GUYS LOOK WHAT I FOUND.

Interesting little fact. I found this video on the day it was posted but had no idea it was this new. I was looking for music to put on my MP3 player and just youtubed "Naganuma" and this was one of the first to come up in the results, after hearing it for the first time I added it.

Just found out it was a couple of days old today.
So today, funnily enough, I pulled out Mario Golf Toadstool Tour. There was custom character leveling in that game. I decided to try out the character I created as a kid. I had only upgraded his drive distance. He drives over 500 yards. Because that makes complete logical sense and isn't game breaking at all.
It's Nintendo's 125th Birthday today.
I played some Smash Bros Brawl with a couple of friends today during my release period. It was really fun, I haven't played Brawl with competent individuals in a long time.
Ah man, just beat Agnus with a trickle of health still on me, took me two tries because I fucked up going into Devil Trigger when he grabbed me and I didn't utilise the Swords that flew around me, but damn it was a good fight.

That fucking first hit that he gives was bullshit though.
I'm feeling Cosmyk's pain now. I got my copy of Mario Galaxy in the mail and of the the two wii-motes, I find the broken one. I'm ordering a new wii-mote to replace the broken one, so I can have two working wii-motes, and so I can play my Wii and Gamecube games.
Went to Eurogamer today, didn't pay for the Sat or Sun so I went for 5 hours from 2 til 7.

First thing I did was line up one and half hours for Halo MCC. Which is pretty fucking good, defenielty 60 frames 1080p, didn't see any slowdown and ran very well. Now for story time which shows off my INCREDIBLY IRONIC BAD LUCK.

So, if you got 20 kills and no deaths you won a Halo Hoodie, so I wouldn't have mind getting the Halo hoodie but I wasn't really trying for it, I just wanted to test myself. I was up against my brother and two random people I lined up with. They were all pretty bad and I got myself to 17-0 by dominating with the Energy Sword, BR and SMG and controlling a lot of areas and just general stuff. The staff were watching me, and the people in the line were watching me. I had 30% left in my Energy Sword and only three more kills to go when suddenly there was a black screen.

It turned out that I FUCKING BRUSHED UP AGAINST THE FUCKING POWER BUTTON AND TURNED THE GOD DAMN CONSOLE OFF. The amount of disappointment I felt from everyone around me was just horrible, I was the closest so far out of everyone.

Still, I had an interview with some people and they asked me about Halo and how I would describe it and stuff like that. It was pretty cool, I got a free T-Shirt as well, I think the hoodie would've been the same thing but damn, just so disappointing.

I then went to play Splatoon, another game I wanted to see. It's fun and takes quite a bit of skill. It feels more like war, since in a war you have to push forward and stop the other troops from advancing, and if you can do that it'll slow the people down. So if you can push forward at the middle you can dominate a game very easily since your guys move slower in their ink then you do in yours.

It has a Nintendo charm to it and you guys should get it if you're willing too.

After, I played a bit of Battlefield Hardline, and holy shit it's actually fucking good. I played a weird Capture the Car game, imagine Capture the Flag, but the flag is a car and your goal is to stay inside if as long as possible. It's pretty fun and you don't understand how amazing it was the shoot a grenade launcher into two oncoming enemy cars only to see them blow up in your face and slide right past you as you rush to the next objective. Seriously, if you guys get the time you should jump on and play it, it feels a lot better than 4 did.

I then went with my brother to play a bit of WWE2K15. I didn't care for the game but my brother did so I was sort of forced to play. I played as Cena because he never loses and my brother played as Cesaro who ever that is and we just sort of duked it out in there. The game looked VERY good, the crowd was very detailed and wasn't just some shitty cardboard cut out crowd, they were fully 3D modelled crowds which is very impressive.

After that I bought a Twinkie and some Breaking Bad "Rock Candy" and called it a day and went home.
My mom is very smart, but damn she can be so dumb.

I (jokingly) asked my mom for a Wii U (knowing that she was going to say no). She asked what they really cost. I told her and fliped out saying "Your Sister payed $200+ for an over blown Game Boy for your nephew?". I had to tell her that was not true since you can't take the game pad out side too far. She asked why and I had to say that it works like the home Phone does (It stops working if you take it too fair away). She, after telling her that the Wii U is not portable for about 6 times, still thinks that you can take it where ever you want.

Aren't we all like that sometimes?

Technically, you can. All you need is a socket to plug the console into and you're set.

Obviously you can't bring it everywhere but if you had to go to the Dentist or something you could potentially bring it with you.

She said that it was (and I quote) "an overblown game boy." I'm not sure if she's thinking straight or if she is thinking 3DS, but I know she's thinking about my GBA when saying that. She really believes that you could play it in the car without the consoul.
At last I completed the collection with all the Halo games.

So do you own
